Bloch Performing Arts Opens First Commercial Location in Lexington, MA

Bloch Performing Arts opening it’s doors in a commercial space marks a significant milestone for this small music education organization that grew against all odds during the pandemic and beyond. Bloch Performing Arts (BPA) went from Jessica Bloch-Moisand as a solopreneur voice teacher with The Bloch Voice Studio out of her apartment, to now expanding to a brick-and-mortar space offering more voice lessons, piano lessons, musicianship classes, music production classes, and performance opportunities to students in the local community of Lexington, MA.

Lexington, MA — July 1st 2026 — Bloch Performing Arts, a music school specializing in voice, piano, and production, is proud to announce the opening of its first commercial location at 271 Lincoln St. Suite 10, Lexington, MA 02421.

Founded in 2021 by Jessica Bloch-Moisand, Bloch Performing Arts has served students of all ages and abilities through online services, shared spaces, home studios, and home visits all around greater Boston. The new location represents an exciting step forward, allowing the business to expand its offerings, increase accessibility, and create a dedicated space for students to experience high quality lessons and music making with the experienced faculty. All faculty have their Master of Music degrees in voice, piano, or production, in addition to years of performance and teaching experience of all ages and levels.

The new location boasts two beautifully renovated studio rooms for individual private lessons and our small group classes, free parking, a kitchen and waiting area for parents and students to grab water and tea or snacks, and a cozy music enrichment space and library. Additionally there is a much improved learning environment for piano, voice, and production students alike with the ability to store extra keyboards, midis, stands and chairs. Students and families can expect an easy experience for their lessons, as BPA is located right off of route 2 and 95 and also are accessible by the 76 bus line.

“Having a place of our own, means that we have increased availability to serve the community with more musical enrichment classes and private lessons, dedicated rehearsal space for students, the ability to grow partnerships with other cultural organizations, and bring the community together through music education and performance.” said Jessica Bloch-Moisand, owner of Bloch Performing Arts. “Opening our first commercial location is a dream realized, and we’re excited to expand services to the Lexington community in addition to our other Greater Boston students and home studio locations (Cambridge, Arlington, Burlington, Jamaica Plain, Brookline, Somerville, Norwood, and more!).”

Doors to our new Lexington space are open to current students this July, and to new or prospective students as early as August 1st. Our 2026-2027 Season of lessons and events runs September 2026 - June 2027. The Bloch Party Grand Opening will take place on Saturday October 10th and will feature demo lessons by our faculty, student performances, tours, promotions, refreshments, and information about our private lessons, classes, and performance opportunities.

About Bloch Performing Arts:

Founded in 2021, Bloch Performing Arts is a music education organization specializing in voice lessons (The Bloch Voice Studio, The Coura Voice Studio, The Franklin Voice Studio, & The Reyna Voice Studio), piano lessons (The Soyoz Piano Studio), music production (Mayer Music Production) and performance opportunities for students of all ages and abilities. The teaching philosophy at Bloch Performing Arts is to give each student a creative, healthy, and efficient way to use their voice and instrument. No matter the style, fostering a technique of complete vocal freedom and playing with easy musical communication is essential to our education goals. Additionally, music education is not only about discipline and growth, but also about the growth of one’s personhood. They take very seriously the need for compassionate education in an art form so vulnerable and personal.
